Barbara Sue Phillips, 63, of Elizabeth

Barbara Sue Phillips, 63, of Elizabeth WV passed away August 30, 2021 at Camden Clark Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Fred and Virginia Woodyard, Barb was a homemaker, she enjoyed crafting with family, working in her flower garden and attending auctions. She is survived by her son Jeffery (Sarah) Phillips of Newark WV, grandchildren Ethan and Carly Phillips; sisters, Waverline Kerns, Judy Koon and Jodie (Mike) Wheeler; brothers, Paul Woodyard and Jim (Debra) Woodyard; mother-in-law Carol Phillips; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Barb was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Phillips; and son Joshua Phillips; sisters, Rita "Mae" Welch and Christine "Leigh" Wagoner; and brother Roy Woodyard. Graveside services will be, 11:00 a.m Friday, Sept. 3, 2021 at Antioch Cemetery, Palestine WV with the Rev Phil Creecy officiating. Matheny Whited Funeral Home was honored to assist the family.
