CALHOUN-GILMER CAREER CENTER ADULT EDUCATION AVAILABLE - Classes are starting up at Calhoun-Gilmer Career Center for Adult Education. Starting on October 14, 2021 the classes will currently be on Monday 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Thursday 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and the first Saturday of the month 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Located at 5260 East Little Kanawha Hwy, Grantsville WV.  MIX-N-MATCH-BINGO - The Calhoun County Wood Festival Committee is sponsoring a Mix-N-Match Bingo fundraiser Saturday, November 13th, 2021 at Calhoun County Middle High School. Doors open at 5:00 p.m. Bingo begins at 6:00 p.m. There will be Door Prizes, and a Silent Auction. Concessions will be sold. Early Bird tickets are available. Saturday, December 4, 2021 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Elizabeth Baptist Church Activities Hall, located on Mulberry Street across from Wirt County High School in Elizabeth. The menu includes soups, beans and cornbread and desserts. The event offers, live music,raffles and 50/50 drawings. The couple have undergone major surgeries, and car accidents this year, and Celena has another upcoming major surgery - they need help getting caught back up.
