James Michael "Jim" Donnelly age 76 of Alum Bridge WV, departed this earthly life on the morning of Thursday, August 26, 2021 at his residence, following an extended illness.
He was born in Philadelphia PA on November 18, 1944, son of the late James and Sylvia Adams Donnelly.
Jim is a graduate of Mastbaum High School in Philadelphia, class of 1963. He worked for SKF manufacturing and retired in 1991. After retirement He and his loving wife Mary moved to West Virginia to enjoy the quiet life. In his spare time, Jim enjoyed working puzzles, playing games, watching TV, spending time with family and friends, and living the quiet life in West Virginia.
On September 8, 1962 Jim was united in marriage to Mary Bonett Donnelly, who survives at their home near Alum Bridge.
Surviving are 4 children, Robert Donnelly and wife Kimberly of Loganton PA, James Donnelly of Alum Bridge, Mary Kay Donnelly of Philadelphia, and Tina Antonelli and husband David of Vineland NJ; 7 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.
Along with his parents, Jim is preceded in death by 1 sister, Dorothy Johnson.
Jim's request for cremation has been honored and the family will have a private memorial service at a later date.
