Ronnie Lane Carpenter, 68, of Spencer WV, died Tuesday, August 17, 2021, at Monongalia General Hospital, Morgantown WV.
He was born August 2, 1953, in Roane County, the son of the late Clyde and Freda Ashby Carpenter.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Carpenter.
Ronnie was a former rig hand in the oil fields.
Survivors include four children, Ronnie Greathouse, Jeff Carpenter, Joshua Carpenter and Christie Carpenter; several grandchildren and several great grandchildren; brothers and sisters,
Carolyn Carpenter, Randle Carpenter, Barbara (Ronnie) Cross and Johnnie Carpenter.
A private family service is being planned for a later date.
