(04/03/2003)
Article and photos submitted by Jackie Blankenship

Wednesday March 26th, five of the eight Queen Flora contestants traveled to Parkersburg to the "ELizabeth Michaels" Prom and Pageant shop to try on pageant and prom gowns. Jane Engelke, owner of Elizabeth Michaels helped the girls with gowns and suit fittings in preparation for a style show that was held March 29th at the Calhoun High School auditorium.

We would like very much to thank Debbie Hartshorn for giving the contestants the opportunity to participate in the "All About Me" seminar and style show and Jane Engelke for graciously assisting the girls with looking for the appropriate gown and street wear for competition.
