THURSDAY WV COVID-19 REPORT - Calhoun Has Six New Cases Past Seven Days, Some New Variant

The West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources confirmed 55 new COVID-19 cases and four additional deaths in its report on June 24.

Calhoun appears to have six new cases during the past week, with some of them a new variant.

The DHHR confirmed 62 new COVID-19 cases and two additional deaths in its report on Wednesday.

The DHHR reports there have been 2,986,740 (+4,083) total confirmatory laboratory results received for COVID-19, with 163,744 (+55) total cases and 2,876 (+4) total deaths.

According to the DHHR dashboard, there are currently 1,853 active cases and 159,015 recovered cases in the state.
