FRIENDS HELPING FRIENDS - Donation Appeal For Severely Injured Paul Staton

(06/28/2021)

On June 15, 2021, Paul Staton was helping a friend repair a metal roof when he slipped and slid into his vehicle. His arm busting through the back quarter panel glass, and his face into the side. The accident caused traumatic injury to his arm, hand, and several fractures to his face.

He was flown to Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown WV where he was prioritized as a level two trauma patient. He was discharged on June 17, 2021, with home health coming for wound care. He has several upcoming appointments all in Morgantown, to see the trauma surgeons for his arm, plastic surgeons for his hand, and ear, nose, and throat surgery specialist for the fractures in his face.

Paul is the sole provider for his family, and it is still undetermined when he will be able to return to work. So, with the expenses of every day living, medical care, and travel expenses any donation or gesture from the community would be more than helping and appreciated.
