David Ray Drake, age 53, of Lenoir NC, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on May 25, 2021.
He was the son of the late Lloyd Drake and Norma Hardway Drake.
David was a very private man that marched to his own drum. He enjoyed fishing and being in the great outdoors as well as music. He loved hard anyone who was lucky enough to be in his small circle.
In addition to his mom, he is survived by two brothers, Dwayne Drake and Donny Drake both of Big Bend WV; a sister Lynn (Jeremy) Poling of Apex NC; 4 nieces and nephews and one great nephew.
He is also survived by a special friend and former wife, Erica Thorn of Elizabeth WV.
In sticking with his wishes, he will be cremated and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later time.
