Minnie Hamilton Health Care Center will offer a free childbirth class on Saturday, April 19, beginning at 1 p.m.
Any woman or couple expecting a baby is invited to attend free of charge.
Family Nurse Practitioner Teresa Ritchie will be the instructor. Participants will learn about important health issues for
mother and baby, the process of labor and how to prepare for it, postpartum care, caring for your newborn, and resources
available to mother and baby before and after delivery.
Chandra Mahapaurya, DDS will discuss pregnancy and dental care, as well as pediatric oral health, including baby bottle
teeth syndrome.
The class is free and space is limited. Call 354-9244 to reserve a space for the childbirth class on Saturday, April
19, beginning at 1 p.m. The class will take place in the Education Annex.
