WESTFALL'S 59TH WOOD FESTIVAL PARADE MARSHALS

(05/31/2021)

Mr. and Mrs. Scottie "Chip" Westfall

For their service to Calhoun County, the 59th Annual Calhoun County Wood Festival Committee would like to present Scottie "Chip" and Janice Westfall as Parade Marshals.

Chip and Janice are life-long residents of Calhoun County and live at Mt. Zion. They are the parents of two children Casey and Scottie.

Chip is a graduate of Glenville State College and Marshall University. Janice is a graduate of Glenville State College and WVU. She was a former “teacher of the year,” representing Calhoun Schools. Janice has continued post-retirement as a substitute teacher at Arnoldsburg and Pleasant Hill Elementary for the past ten years.

Chip is also retired from the Calhoun School System, as a teacher, and the Calhoun County Commission where he represented Calhoun County on many boards and committees.

They are both active members of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church. In their spare time, they enjoy traveling and walking many miles a week with their golden retrievers. They operate a small farm where they garden and currently have about 5,000 Christmas trees planted.
