Connie Sue Fraley, 55 of Glenville

Connie Sue Fraley, 55 of Glenville WV, departed this earthly life in the early evening hours of Monday, May 17, 2021 at the Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown WV, following a battle with COPD.

She was born February 25, 1966 in Summersville WV, daughter of the late Halis E. Rogers and Ruth Jean Keener Rogers.

Connie was homemaker, foster parent, and community babysitter. In her spare time she loved spending time with family and friends, spoiling her grandchildren whenever possible and she was a Baptist by faith.

On August 12, 1985 Connie was united in marriage to Chester Fraley, who survives at their Glenville home.

Surviving are 4 children, Phyllis Fraley and companion Roy Wyne, Dorothy Fraley, Brittanyann Fraley, and Lawrence Fraley, all of Glenville; 7 grandchildren, Deanna Cook of Inwood WV, Breanna Cottrell, Bobby Cottrell III, Brandon Cottrell, Emma Wyne, Arley Wyne, and Dixie Wyne all of Glenville, and 1 great-grandaughter, Anora Phillips of Inwood, and 6 siblings, Nell Collins of Birch River WV, David Rogers of Glenville, Caroline Johns (David) of Mt. Nebo, Melinda Conn of Woodleaf NC, Gary Collins of Ennon WV, and April Bender (Jerry) of Craigsville WV.

Also surviving are a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many other wonderful family and friends.

Connie's request for cremation has been honored and a memorial service will be conducted at the Ellyson Mortuary and Cremation Services, Inc., 2 Vanhorn Drive, Glenville WV, at 12:00 noon, Saturday, May 22, 2021 with Pastor Brent Rinehart officiating. Family and Friends will be received from 10:00 a.m.–12:00 noon, Saturday morning at the mortuary in Glenville.

In accordance with the mandates set forth by the State of West Virginia, masks or some kind of facial covering must be worn inside the mortuary in Glenville and social distancing must be observed.
