SATURDAY WV COVID-19 REPORT - Calhoun Has Record 39 Cases This Week, 33 Last Week

One COVID-19-related death was reported in West Virginia on Saturday along with 307 new positive cases.

New cases (72) have reached record highs in Calhoun the past two weeks.

Four new Calhoun cases reported Saturday, with a record 39 cases this week.

Last week 33 cases.

The state’s active total dropped slightly to 6,503 for the day. The daily positive test rate was 3.60%, while the overall positive test rate remained at 5.13%.

Hospitalizations moving from 255 to 254. Intensive care admissions dropped three to 83 while the number of people on a ventilator increased by one to 35.
