CELEBRATION OF LIFE SERVICE SET FOR EURSEL ROBERTS

A Celebration of Life for Eursel Roberts will be held Saturday, July 31st at 1 pm at Chapel Baptist Church 1710 Nobe Road. Come with a memory to share and wear camouflage. A meal will follow the service.

Eursel R. Roberts, 75, of Nobe, went home to be with the Lord May 11, 2021, at the Parkersburg Care Center.

He was born at Nobe, WV, son of Jesse and Violet Grimm Roberts. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1965-1971. He was a member of Chapel Baptist Church.

He was a carpenter, and everyone in the community loved him, and loved his work. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and mountain man. He will be sadly missed by everyone. Surviving are his son Douglas Roberts, two sisters Nancy Yoak, husband Bob of Nobe, WV, Theda Deuley, husband Gerald of Belpre, Ohio, two brothers John, wife Bert of Ravenna, Ohio, Glen, wife Ireta of Nobe, WV, and special friends, Kay, Leonard, Charlie and Howard. He was proceeded in death by his parents, his son Chad Roberts, one sister Marjorie Grogg Bunner, and three brothers Lorren, Lorous, Charles “Chink” Roberts.

He had one granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to say a special thanks to the Parkersburg Care Center Staff and Amedisys Hospice for the loving care they gave him.

A celebration of life will be July 31st at Chapel Baptist Church at Nobe.
