She was born April 18, 1924, the daughter of the late Aud Henry and Cammie Louise Argabrite Schreckengost. She was a homemaker and married to Basil Runnion on October 26, 1946.

She is survived by her loyal husband, Basil Runnion; one son, Robert B. "Bob" Runnion (Kay); one daughter, Ruth A. Runnion Looney (John); one grandson, Stephen C. Looney; one granddaughter, Bridget Berkhouse; two great-grandchildren, Carli and Cory Berkhouse all of Spencer; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Elmer T. Schreckengost, John F. Schreckengost and Charles P. Schreckengost; sisters, Mary Marjorie Tolley, Michie K. Parsons Seabolt, Hallie L. Clarkson; and two infant brothers Hoy and Coy.

Graveside services will be 4:00 p.m. Thursday, May 6, 2021 at Ward Cemetery on Spring Creek with Pastor George Chandler officiating.
