MONDAY WV COVID-19 REPORT - 289 NEW CASES

The state Department of Health and Human Resources reported 289 new positive cases in the past 24 hours. The active case total is 7,201.

The overall positive test rate increased from 5.11% to 5.15% while the daily positive test rate went from 4.46% to 6.63%.

Overall, 598,556 have been fully vaccinated in the state. There have been 144,310 COVID-19 recoveries since the pandemic started.
