PLEASANT HILL ELEMENTARY GOES REMOTE LEARNING AFTER COVID-19 OUTBREAK

Calhoun School's Superintendent Kelli Whytsell said in an effort to be transparent with the community and also respect the privacy of our students we want to inform you that Calhoun County Schools has been notified of COVID-19 positive students at Pleasant Hill Elementary.

The school nurse is in the process of notification to parents of involved students and the school system in touch with the MOVHD and will be following the health department's guidance.

As a precaution, the decision has been made to make Pleasant Hill School full remote from April 13th to April 20th. There will be no afterschool at Pleasant Hill Elementary, Monday, April 12th afterschool will be available on remote learning following the set schedule.

"As a school system, our employees do the COVID-19 screeners, take temperatures, and sanitize daily.     We are a close school family and will continue to provide whatever assistance we can safely provide.  Thank you for your support of Calhoun County Schools, our students, and the school community.   Together we can get through these challenging times by continuing to support each other," said Whytsell.  Â
