Alma (Eileen) Pursley McKee, 98, of Mineral Wells WV, formerly of Millstone WV, passed away peacefully at the home of her daughter Donna, on April 8, 2021.

She was born on August 13, 1922, to Deering C. Pursley and Opal Anna McConnell Pursley of Spencer, WV. She was a member of the Albert's Chapel UMC, Sand Ridge, WV. Eileen graduated from Spencer High School in 1943. Eileen loved to travel with her daughters. She loved camping and long car rides on back roads of West Virginia. Her first plane ride was at the age of 79 to Las Vegas, NV, with her daughters, a trip she often talked about. Her other travels include New Orleans, LA, Chicago, IL, Seattle WA, and many trips to Florida to visit her sister Louise and family.

Eileen was an accomplished seamstress, winning a few Blue and Red Ribbon awards for quilting, sewing, and embroidering. She made several wedding dresses for family and friends. Loving to give embroidered pillowcases and handmade baby quilts as gifts. She also enjoyed hosting family reunions for the McKee/Ball family and the Pursley/Radabaugh family. There was always lots of good food, laughter, and good times had by all who came.

Arcoe and Eileen were married on March 28, 1948, together they had three daughters surviving, Anna Lou Wilson (Charles) of Parkersburg WV, Lynda Sue Milliron (Keith) of Big Springs WV, and Donna Lea Owens (Charles) of Mineral Wells WV; and special daughter Carlene Frederick and family of Nobe WV.
