PRAYER PATH TO EASTER - Knotts Memorial Church Announces Easter Services |

Submitted by Pastor Mary Zimmer Knotts Memorial United Methodist Church will have a Prayer Path to Easter on Wednesday, April 9th, Thursday, April 10th and Friday, April 11th. The public is invited to come to the sanctuary between the hours of 7 and 9 p.m. to follow the prayer path from station to station leaving from the social hall. Each prayer station is set up to lead you through an interactive reflection on the last days of Jesus' life on earth - from the Last Supper to the tomb. This is a "come and go" type prayer service, so you can arrive at any time between the hours of 7 and 9 p.m. on any of the three nights. It will take approximately 45 minutes to walk the path; however, the time will depend upon you allowing the Holy Spirit to guide you in your individual prayers and reflections. This is the second time that Knotts has offered this unique opportunity to the community. We pray that many will come reflect upon Christ's journey to the cross for us. Holy Week Services at Knotts Memorial United Methodist Church Thursday, April 17th at 6 p.m. we will be celebrating a Passover Seder Meal. Friday, April 18th, at 7 p.m. Good Friday Service Sunday, April 20th 6:30 a.m. Easter Sunrise Service with our brothers and sisters from the First Baptist Church joining us. Breakfast will be served following the service. 10 a.m. Sunday School; 11 a.m. Easter Sunday Service |
