Amber Dawn Rhodes, 29, formerly of Palestine

Amber Dawn Rhodes, 29, formerly of Palestine WV, died suddenly Jan. 10, 2021. She leaves behind her three children Brooklynn, 12, Kamron, 8, and Raelynn, 7; her mother Tracy Rhodes of Palestine; a brother AJ Rhodes of Industrial WV and a sister Anna Marie Rhodes of Georgia. Preceding her in death was her father Anthony Rhodes and his parents Nina and Eugene Rhodes; her very special Aunt Moe (Melody Thompson); uncles Jerry Thompson, Dave Thompson, Jeff Burdette and Mike Rhodes; maternal grandparents Anne and Sam Thompson and two nephews Joe Dingess and Jason Nichols. Amber had a smile that even in the darkest room would light it up. She was such a beautiful young lady inside and out and will be missed more than words can ever begin to describe. She touched the lives of many. Amber didn’t go to church but she did know our Lord and Savior. Praise God! A celebration of life will be held at a later date. There will be no funeral or visitation. The date and time for her celebration of life will be posted on her mother’s Facebook page.
