Charles Hubert Pauley, 83, of Gandeeville

Charles Hubert Pauley, 83, of Gandeeville WV, passed away, Friday, February 19, 2021, at his home.

He was born February 7, 1938 at Charleston WV, the son of the late Hubert B. and Virginia Alice Carrier Pauley.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Teresa Dodson Pauley, who passed away on January 16, 2009; brother, Gene Pauley; sister, Georgia Ann Shaffer; sister-in-law, Joyce Pauley.

Charles was the owner and operator of Charleston Waterproofing and Remodeling, Inc. in Charleston WV, where he retired in 2014. He was loved and respected by all of his employees.

Survivors include a daughter, Judith Lynn Boesch of Allison Park PA; son, Charles Douglas Pauley of Charleston; grandchildren, Hannah Harris of Cranberry Township PA, and Chadwich Pauley of Charleston; great grandchildren, Abbygail Harris, Angelica Harris and Curtis Pauley; nieces, Cheryl Calvert, Georgia Ann Earley, and Kimberly Pauley; nephews, Wayne Shaffer, and Shannon Shaffer; great niece, Hudson Pauley-Pittman; caregiver, Patrick Elliott of Gandeeville, who worked for Charles for many years. Patrick moved in with Charles and took care of him.

There will be a memorial service at a later date. John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, was in charge of arrangements.
