FRIDAY WV COVID-19 REPORT: 421 NEW CASES - Calhoun Has 11 New Cases This Week

The West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources confirmed 421 new COVID-19 cases and one additional death in its report on Friday.

It appears that Calhoun has 11 new cases this week.

The DHHR confirmed 431 new COVID-19 cases and 5 additional deaths in its report on Thursday.

The report from the DHHR stated that as of 10 a.m. on Friday, February 26, there have been a total of 2,157,910 (+10,634) laboratory results received for COVID-19, with 131,234 (+421) total cases and 2,291 (+1) of those cases resulting in deaths.

According to the DHHR’s COVID-19 dashboard, there are currently 7,800 (-220) active cases and 121,143 (+640) recovered cases in the state.

According to the dashboard, as of Friday morning, 285,654 (+8,472) first doses of the vaccine have been administered, and 183,537 (+8,356) people have been fully vaccinated.
