MONDAY WV COVID-19 REPORT - 252 NEW CASES

The West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources confirmed 238 new COVID-19 cases and two additional deaths in its report on Monday.

Calhoun appears to have three new cases this week.

The DHHR confirmed 252 new COVID-19 cases and seven additional deaths in its report on Sunday.

The report from the DHHR stated that as of 10 a.m. on Monday, February 22, there have been a total of 2,119,158 (+3,826) laboratory results received for COVID-19, with 129,854 (+238) total cases and 2,263 (+2) of those cases resulting in deaths.

According to the DHHR’s COVID-19 dashboard, there are currently 8,795 (-159) active cases and 118,796 (+395) recovered cases in the state.

According to the dashboard, as of Monday morning, 269,670 (+278) first doses of the vaccine have been administered, and 166,272 (+86) people have been fully vaccinated.
