Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there is a new Open Enrollment period through the Affordable Care Act beginning February 15 and ending May 15, 2021. With job losses continuing and people losing job-based health insurance, Healthcare.gov is open to give people who need health insurance an opportunity to get covered. Minnie Hamilton Health System is prepared to assist you with the enrollment process for both the Medicaid Expansion Program and the Marketplace. Janet Heiney, Certified Application Counselor, is available to help answer your questions and there is no charge for this service. Due to the pandemic, telephone enrollments are offered.
