| Freda A. DePue, 71, of Spencer, died Saturday, February 13, 2021, at Roane General Hospital, Spencer.
She was born October 20, 1949 at Elkhurst, Clay County, the daughter of the late Shirley and Audra Sharp Kendall. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Dana Tolley.
Freda was a nurse and pharmacy technician at Roane General Hospital and a member of Breakthrough Baptist Church, Spencer.
In her spare time she enjoyed spending time reading.
Survivors include her husband, Robert DePue of Spencer; daughter, Denise Atkinson of Sissonville; granddaughters, Sarina and Savana Atkinson; sisters, Loretta Griffin, Iris Greathouse, Naomi Griffin and Rose Long all of Spencer; brothers, Fenton Kendall of Spencer and Karl Kendall of Byesville, Ohio; nephews, Dennis and Danny Tolley and several additional nephews and nieces.
There will be no service or visitation.
