he West Virginia Promise Application numbers have dropped nearly 50%, along with FAFSA completions now being down 20%.

West Virginia already has among US states, the lowest number of college grads. The drop, according to the State Treasurer's office, saying the dip in higher education assistance to the current pandemic.

With the deadline of March 1st quickly approaching, the state office is urging high school students and their parents to take advantage of the free assistance.
