MONDAY WV COVID-19 UPDATE - WV DAILY NUMBERS DROP AFTER CHRISTMAS SURGE

The West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources confirmed 532 new COVID-19 cases and 4 additional deaths in its report on Monday.

Calhoun has one new case so far this week.

The DHHR confirmed 555 new COVID-19 cases and 23 additional deaths in its report on Sunday.

The report from the DHHR stated that as of 10 a.m. on Monday, January 25, there have been a total of 1,842,725 (+4,978) laboratory results received for COVID-19, with 115,839 (+532) total cases and 1,899 (+4) of those cases resulting in deaths.

According to the DHHR’s COVID-19 dashboard, there are currently 24,365 (-114) active cases and 89,575 (+642) recovered cases in the state.
