ICY ROADS CAUSE CALHOUN CRASHES

Hazardous and icy roads hit Calhoun Friday night, resulting in at least two accidents.

A driver lost control of their vehicle near Nighcut Hill west of Grantsville, State Route 5, at 8:05 p.m.

Roads described as "super icy," the first such weather event this winter.

Calhoun EMS and the Grantsville VFD dispatched to the scene, the vehicle on its top.

No injuries.

A short time before, a driver crashed into the ditchline at Letherbark, US 33-119.

The Arnoldsburg VFD responded with no injuries.
