Verlin Edward (Eddy) Millican, 64, of Big Springs

Verlin Edward (Eddy) Millican, 64, of Big Springs WV, passed away December 28, 2020, at Genesis Health Center, Glenville WV.

He was born in Orville Ohio on April 11, 1956 son of Verlin Millican and the late Millie Parker Millican.

He attended Calhoun High School, served in the Army as a cannon operator, then worked as an over the road truck driver.

In addition to his mom Millie, he was preceded in death by his step-mom, Arvilla Holbert Millican, infant daughter, Amy Millican, nephew Jamie Stover, companion Murlene Ferrebee, sister-in-law, Jan Millican, and his grandparents.

In addition to his dad Verlin, he is survived by 2 sons Eddy Jo (Ashley) and Randy Millican both of Iowa, seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild, one brother Donnie (Holly) Millican of Norton, Ohio, one sister Connie (Harry) Stover of Peninsula, Ohio, five step-sisters Linda (Buck) Shaffer of Elyria, Ohio, Naomi White of Lagrange, Ohio, Margaret (Wilbert) Kerby, Carrol (Gary) Dye, Sharon (Jim) Yeager all of Big Springs WV, one niece Stephanie (Steve) Gorecki of Streetsboro, Ohio, four nephews Ken Stover of Peninsula, Ohio, Nicholas (Heather) Millican of West Jefferson, Ohio, Daniel (Jacquiline) Millican of Morehead, Kentucky, Brandon Millican of Norton, Ohio, plus great-nieces, nephews, and step-nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Jason (Jessica) Harris and Sonny Kelly for always being there for him. Also, thank you to Genesis Health Center staff for caring for him. Eddy enjoyed spending time with his family friends and his fur babies and riding his 4-wheeler.

A private family service will be at Stump Funeral Home & Cremation, Inc., Grantsville WV and a public graveside service will be at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 6, 2021, at the Fluharty Cemetery, off Leading Creek Road on Fluharty Road. Service will be officiated by Steve Norman. Please wear masks and social distance.
