Franklin Wolfrum "Bud" Horton, Jr., 79, of Spencer, died Wednesday, December 16, 2020, at Roane General Hospital, Spencer.
He was born October 3, 1941 at Ridgewood, N.J., the son of the late Franklin Wolfrum and Rosamond Ackerman Livingston Horton, Sr.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Horton; son, Walter Horton; stepfather, Maurice Taufic.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Sean D. and Robin Horton of Appomattox, Va.; grandchildren, Colin, Katie, Fallon, Meagan and Dylan; great grandchild, Brynlee; sister, Julie Ryan; brother, Peter Taufic; nieces and nephews, Jill, Racheal, Patrick and Michael.
Bud was a retired carpenter. He was a 40 year resident of Roane County and a member of the NRA. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and gardener. He loved Trixie and Riley.
There will be no service at this time.
John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, is in charge of arrangements.
