CHARLESTON SHOOTING - Charleston police have released more information regarding a shooting Wednesday night on the East End. Around 9:25 p.m. police responded to a reported shooting at 7-Eleven on Washington Street East. Police learned Andre Joyner 45, of Charleston was transported to a local hospital with injuries by a personal vehicle, according to a news release from the department. During an initial investigation, officers learned an argument ensued between multiple people in the parking lot. An unknown suspect then fired multiple rounds, striking Joyner once in the back, the release said. Police say Joyner is in critical condition at the hospital.
