ALERT: ALL CALHOUN COURTHOUSE OFFICES BEING CLOSED - Covid-19 Exposure, National Guard Disinfecting Calhoun Courthouse

UPDATE 12-17-2020 - Representatives from the WV National Guard will commence through disinfecting of the Calhoun Courthouse Thursday, December 17, due to COVID-19 exposure.

12-16-2020 - Due to COVID-19 exposure at the Calhoun County Courthouse, all county offices are to be closed immediately (12-16-2020 2:15 PM).

Commissioner Kevin Helmick said the County Commissioners are taking the most responsible actions we can at this time to protect our employees, elected officials, and citizens.

Calhoun Circuit Court set for Thursday (Dec. 17) has been cancelled, according to Prosecutor Shannon Johnson.

The Magistrate Court will be on rotation for call-ins.

The closure will be re-evaluated, with the courthouse to be closed through next Tuesday.

The courthouse will have a full cleaning and sanitation.
