Joan Elizabeth Hunt, 78, of Palestine

Joan Elizabeth Hunt, 78 of Palestine WV, passed away at her home Dec. 10, 2020. Born in Altoona, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Beatrice Houp Rupert. She received her GED, and was a homemaker. She enjoyed crafting and beading and was a foster grandparent at the Elizabeth Primary Center. She was a member of the DAR and attended Pisgah United Methodist Church and New Life Worship Center. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Lowell T. "Tom" Hunt Sr.; and a brother Charles Rupert. She is survived by her children Lowell T. "TomTom" Hunt (Kelly), Stanley Hunt (Christina) and JoAnn Salyer (Gary); 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and a sister Lonnie Dey. Donations may be made in her memory to Pisgah United Methodist Church.
