MOVHD COVID-19 REPORT - Dec. 9

MID OHIO VALLEY HEALTH DEPT. [MOVHD] Parkersburg WV, December 9, 2020 – Two more residents of Wood County have died due to complications of COVID-19. Deaths in Wood County are now at 26 individuals. Ritchie County now has five deaths and Pleasants County have had four deaths. There have been 3 deaths in Roane County and one in Wirt County as of today. Calhoun has seen no deaths. MOVHD sends our condolences to all those that are mourning these deaths. See MOVHD numbers for today, Dec. 9, while WVDHHR is reporting 19 active cases for Calhoun. Please remember to take precautions as you prepare for the upcoming holidays. Keep gatherings to a minimum, wear a mask, wash your hands frequently and distance yourself from others.
