MURDER - Jeremi Lee Kincaid, 27, was arrested and charged with first degree murder on Friday, Nov. 27. Kincaid, of Marlinton, allegedly shot and killed Galen Lee Biggs because of “drama revolving around ex-girlfriends,” according to the police report. Six people, including Kincaid and Biggs, were at the home on Beaver Creek Road at the time of the alleged murder, according to West Virginia State Police. Kincaid allegedly told police that Biggs had approached him at the back of the house with a firearm. Kincaid said he then drew his own revolver and fired several shots at Biggs, according to the report. During an interview with police, Kincaid admitted to disposing both Biggs’ rifle and his own pistol at separate locations in town, the police report states. State police say that they recovered both guns. Kincaid is being held at Tygart Valley Regional Jail.
