SHOOTINGS - Three people are facing charges Wednesday after drugs and guns were found during a search of a home in Huntington.

Robert Hamlin, 38, was arrested for wanton endangerment, according to a news release from police. Justin Daniels, 36, was charged with one count of possession with intent to deliver heroin and one count of possession with intent to deliver crystal methamphetamine.

Jeremy Daniels, 39, of Huntington, was charged with one count of possession with intent to deliver heroin.

Police searched a home in the 500 block of 23rd Street West about 7:30 a.m. Wednesday after receiving complaints of several shooting incidents at the location.

Thirteen people were detained at the home and police found 77 grams of suspected heroin, 30 grams of suspected crystal methamphetamine, three guns and other contraband, according to the news release.

More arrests are expected in the investigation.

LOGAN FELON - Logan County deputies said a convicted felon faces charges after a rifle and a safe that contained suspected methamphetamine and several thousand dollars in cash were found at a home.

Dallas Bryant, 59, of Chapmanville was arrested Tuesday on charges of possession of a controlled substance and prohibited person in possession of a firearm, according to a news release from the Logan County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies responded after receiving a tip to a home on Meadow Ridge Drive in Chapmanville. They spoke to Bryant and found two other males inside the residence.

After searching the home, they discovered a safe in a bedroom that contained a baggy with a crystal-like substance that appeared to be meth and more than $3,200 cash, the news release said. A rifle also was found in the home.

Deputies said a criminal background check found that Bryant was convicted of a felony in 2015 for delivery of a controlled substance.

Bryant was taken into custody and was taken to Southwestern Regional Jail, where he was being held on a $13,000 bond.
