62% MCDOWELL CORRECTIONAL FACILITY COVID-19 - 254 INMATES

About 64% of the McDowell County Correctional Center's population has COVID-19. According to the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources data, 254 of the facility's 396 inmates have the virus. The data is accurate as of Sunday, Nov. 15. The data said there are 12 COVID-19 tests pending, and 141 inmates are in quarantine. There were 107 active COVID-19 cases at FCI Gilmer, according to the Gilmer County Health Department, as well as other cases in state facilities.
