The Arnoldsburg and Upper West Fork volunteer fire departments responded to a mobile fire of the right fork of Rush Run about 4:45 p.m. Wednesday.

Residents reported there was a fire in a room that smelled like rubber.

The fire was quickly brought under control.

The Grantsville VFD was dispatched to Sugar Camp/Goodnight Hill at 6:40 p.m. Wednesday to a report about a fire in the woods. An investigation sent the fire department back to station.
