Calhoun County Middle-High School Band traveled to Cabell County, Saturday to participate in the West Virginia Marching Band Invitational.

This is the state championship. Calhoun's band competed in Class D and was awarded Best Percussion, Best Colorguard, and overall best marching band.

Kyla Lovejoy was awarded Best Drum Major.

In overall awards the band took 2nd Runner-Up In the blue division despite being the smallest and youngest band to attend.

Emily Anderson was awarded 2020 State Miss Majorette which was judged from all participating bands.
