CALHOUN CLERK RELEASES VOTER REPORT - General Election Information

(10/25/2020)
County Clerk Jean Simers said these uncertain times, the voter has many options to vote in the upcoming general election.

You can vote on election day, November 3, 2020 – we are making every effort to make sure the poll workers and the voters are safe. Please wear a mask per the governor’s executive order. If you do not have a mask, we will have masks available.

As of today, October 23, 2020, we have mailed 541 absentee ballots and 438 have been returned. Just a reminder that absentee ballots must be received in the clerk’s office by Canvass Day which is November 9, 2020.

There were 211 early voters on the first two days of early voting. In the 2016 general election there were exactly the same number of early voters the first two days of early voting.

October 28th is the last day to receive applications for an absentee ballot for the November 3rd General Election.

The polls will open at 6:30 a.m. on November 3rd and close at 7:30 p.m.
