TUESDAY COVID-19 WV: 274 NEW CASES

More than 270 news cases of COVID-19 was confirmed Tuesday in the report by the state Department of Health and Human Resources (DHHR).

The DHHR confirmed 274 cases to bring the active case total in the state to 4,687 and the total number of cases to 18,555. The daily positive rate is now up to 4.31% following the update.

Also in Tuesday’s report, the DHHR confirmed two additional deaths to bring the state total to 387. An 84-year old male from Cabell County and an 85-year old male from Kanawha County were the latest victims.
