Adderson Carl Bailey, 86, of Orrville

Orrville - Adderson Carl Bailey, age 86, of Orrville,Ohio died Thursday, October 1, 2020, at his home in Orrville, following a period of declining health.

Adderson was born on March 15, 1934, in Minnora, West Virginia, to the late Emerson and Pearl (Keener) Bailey and served in the United States Army. He married Dorothy Loretta Falls on December 25, 1959, in Minnora and she died on January 2, 2013.

He later moved to Orrville and worked for The J.M. Smucker Company in Orrville for many years.

Adderson enjoyed hunting and fishing, vegetable gardening, was an avid hobbyist, and loved going to trade shows.

Surviving are two sons, Ronald Lee Bailey of Orrville and Allen Carl (Shelia Reinert) Bailey of Louisiana; three granddaughters, Elizabeth (Trent) Gallion of Clark, Shandi Bailey of WV, and Ember Bailey of WV; six great-grandchildren, Morgan Gallion, Taylor Gallion, Justin Bennett, Alex Poorman, Adderson Perrine, and Donis Gallion; and a sister, Virginia (Bob) Lowry of Orrville.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by nine siblings.

Cremation will take place and a memorial will be held at a later date.

Auble Funeral Home in Orrville is handling the arrangements.
