She was a registrar at at the health department for 35 years, a 1930 graduate of Calhoun County High School, and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was a member of the Knotts Memorial United Methodist Church.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Stump Funeral Home in Grantsville. Visitation 6-8 p.m. today with Eastern Star Memorial Service at 7 p.m.
