ARNOLDSBURG FIREMEN RESPOND TO UTILITY BUILDING FIRES NEAR ARNOLDSBURG

The Arnoldsburg Volunteer Fire Department discovered two abandoned buildings on fire when they arrived about one mile south of Arnoldsburg, Route 16, about 11:30 p.m. Sunday. The fires were located on property formerly owned by Butch McKinley, across the road from the Ted Adkins Oil and Gas yard. Firemen extinguished fire in a garage, but another building some distance away was a total loss. The buildings were not hooked to utilities, sources indicated they were likely set on fire.
