CALHOUN SCHOOL SUPERINTEDENT ISSUES STATEMENT COVID-19 CASE - QUARANTINE

In an effort to be transparent with the community and also respect the privacy of our employees, we want to inform you that Calhoun County Schools has two employees that are being quarantined due to being in contact with a person that has tested positive to COVID. These employees have not tested positive but are self-quarantining.  As soon as this was identified, the employees notified the school nurse and left the school. We are in touch with the MOVHD and will be following the health department's guidance. As a school system, our employees do the COVID-19 screeners, take temperatures, and sanitize.  Our thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time.   We are a close school family and will continue to provide whatever assistance we can safely provide to them during this time.    Thank you for your support of Calhoun County Schools, our students, and the school community.   Together we can get through these challenging times by continuing to support each other.    Thanks, Kelli Whytsell, Superintendent Calhoun County Schools.
