| Vivian C. Jarvis age 59 of Tanner WV departed this life on Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at her residence in Tanner following a short illness. She was born April 5, 1961 in Gassaway WV daughter of the late Percy Jarvis and Anne Dobbins Greenlief. Vivian was a homemaker who loved living the quiet life at her home in Tanner. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing, making quilts, tending to her flower garden, baking, caring for her pets, and helping anyone who needed it. Surviving is her longterm companion, Richard "Rick" Bailey of Tanner; 2 sons, Jesse Allen Jordan of Rosedale WV and Shawn Wesley Jarvis of Sutton WV; 4 siblings, Mildred Jenkins of Cambridge OH, Hazel Cobb of Tioga WV, Dave Jarvis of OH, and Bobby Greenlief of Rosedale WV. Also surviving are a host of other wonderful family and friends. Along with her parents, Vivian is preceded in death by a brother, Lester and numerous other family members. A funeral service will be conducted at Ellyson Mortuary, Inc. at 3:00 p.m. Monday, August 31, 2020 with Chaplin Rick Price officiating. Burial will follow in the Sugar Creek Cemetery in Braxton County. Friends will be received from 2:30-3:00 p.m. Monday afternoon at the mortuary in Glenville. In lieu of flowers the family request donation be made directly to Ellyson Mortuary, Inc. 2 Vanhorn Drive, Glenville, WV 26351 to aid in final expenses. Ellyson Mortuary, Inc. is assisting the family of Vivian C. Jarvis with arrangements.
