Mable Bunner Stevens 84, of Munday

Mable Bunner Stevens 84, of Munday WV passed away August 4, 2020 at Parkersburg Care Center.

Her Family would like to announce the celebration of her life and death as she left to be with Jesus and family that went before her.

She was born June 24, 1936 at the family home, she was the daughter of the late Dorcy and Eula Mills Wilson and the last of her immediate family.

Mable graduated from Wirt County High School with the class of 1954. She retired as head cook at the Wirt County Middle-Primary School. She was a member of the Strait Creek Baptist Church where she served in many positions. Her hobbies included making quilts, crocheting and scrap booking.

She is survived by her children, Tim (Lisa) Bunner, Donald (Annie) Bunner, Alvin Stevens, Betty Kerr and Alice Mollohan; grandchildren Matthew Bunner, Kelley Bunner, Chris Stevens, David Bunner, Ada Wilson, Tina Thompson, Angel Elliott and Brian Mollohan.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her 1st husband Harlan Ted Bunner; her 2nd husband Samuel Stevens; a grandson Andrew Mollohan; and siblings Paul Wilson and his wife Geneva and Donna Steed and her husband Ted.

The family will receive friends Saturday August 8, 2020 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Matheny Whited Funeral Home in Elizabeth WV with the guidelines involved with COVID-19. The family understands any and all reluctance to pay respects. There will be a private graveside service at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made in Mrs. Stevens name to the Alzheimer's Association, 1218 Market Street, Parkersburg WV 26101.
