RESPONDERS ANSWER MULTIPLE CALLS, WRECKS AND FIRES REPORTED

A vehicle reportedly broke loose near the Calhoun Banks parking lot shortly before noon Thursday, crashing with another vehicle and almost crashing into gas lines. There were no injuries. Calhoun EMS, the Upper West Fork VFD and the Calhoun Sheriffs Department responded to the incident. Calhoun 911 said they had no information to confirm the incident. The Grantsville VFD responded to a reported fire at a mobile home on Big Root at 12:55 p.m. Thursday. The fire appeared to be minor in nature. The Arnoldsburg VFD responded to the report of a fire on Frozen Run at 2 p.m. Thursday. A house had burned to the ground before firemen were called, the house located at the head of Frozen near the Gilmer line.
