UPPER WEST FORK PARK MUSIC EVENTS CANCELLED

(07/14/2020)
West Virginia Governor Jim Justice has announced that all outside music events of more than 25 people is re-closed as well as fairs and festivals.

The music event planned for this weekend is cancelled as well as subsequent music events until the park is authorized to re-open. The Upper West Fork Park Board says they are sorry to have to do this, but must follow the WV mandated guidelines.

THANKS

The board of the Upper West Fork Park would like to thank all those who have helped get the park ready for the re-opening, who worked on the plumbing and water leak, fixed the hot water tank, mowed the lawn, brush-hogged the field, getting everything ready for our first event in several months, a mud bog.

Thanks to Terri and Ronnie Allen and the mud bog committee for their hard work and to those who donated equipment. A special thanks to Brian Jarvis with UES for donating our brand new sign at the road. The mud bog was a huge success with 400 people attending and for staying 6' apart, following the state guidelines.

Thanks to everyone who helped at the mud bog and worked in the kitchen. We had lots of praise for the good food provided. And to Dory Concessions and Hilly Billy Proud for participating during the mud bog.

Thanks to all those who donated their time, money, labor and simply put, for making the park a wonderful place to come and spend time. We appreciate each and every one of you.
