(07/12/2020)
The Mid-Ohio Valley Health Department (MOVHD) is still reporting more COVID-19 cases daily.

Wirt County added two new cases. The previous four cases have already been released.

Roane County reports one additional positive case bringing their total to date to 12.

Wood County added 17 new positive cases for a total of 178 positive cases.

Calhoun County and Pleasants County remain at four positive cases each.

Ritchie County has two positive cases.

The MOVHD encourages individuals and businesses to heed the governor’s mandate to wear a mask indoors and to take precautions when traveling.

For those returning from trips, it is recommended that a COVID-19 test be completed three to five days after returning. This helps to prevent a false negative.
