21ST CENTURY LEARNING CENTERS STARTING IN WIRT - Seeking Qualified Applicants

CRI in Wirt County will be starting 21st Century Learning Centers and are looking for qualified applicants.

Opening - Program Director for Wirt County 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) Grant

Will direct the 21st CCLC program. Work in close contact with the Wirt County 21st CCLC Collaborative and CRI Executive Director. Facilitate a Vision and Mission statement and initiate a structured after-school program for Wirt County children age 6-18. Provide Leadership and overall direction and administration of all the operations of the 21st CCLC. Initiate, propose and implement policies and procedures. Monitor center record keeping and data collection, ensure a balanced budget. Market center services. Prepare required federal reports for the Department of Education. Develop and guide other funding sources. Time commitment must be flexible to include morning, afternoon, and evening hours on a varied schedule, which might include weekends and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications - Demonstrated knowledge and skills in instructional and personal management, human relations, communications, and leadership. Prefer Bachelor's degree with administrative/Supervisory experience. Adept working with young people in a variety of settings. Experience with an educational institution or program which included duties and qualifications consistent with a job description herein.

Preferred Qualifications -- Experience working with young people in a variety of settings. Prepare outgoing correspondence for the Program Director. Research and recommend acquisitions. Monthly reconciliation of the program budget. Maintain inventory, take minutes at meetings. Must be able to type with a working knowledge of MS Windows and MS Office programs.
